I've driven by this cafe several times and yesterday I made time to study and get some work done here. The energy was fresh and the three women working were all professional and very helpful. I was given great suggestions on sandwiches to try, ultimately I went with the turkey TMJ on a croissant and I had a chai tea. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. Seating was plenty and the place was buzzing the entire 2 hours I was there. I was so please I decided to wait to try dessert just so I could take the family back. My only critique was the restrooms were not available to customers which is one of the main reasons I wrapped up my work, I had to go. Lastly the music was upbeat which was nice but some of the songs had profanity and vulgar language. A preset playlist or a better station like the wave would be more ideal for an establishment that serves a wide array of diverse cultures and age groups. That can be off putting if you have your children or parents with you.
10/10 ACROSS THE BOARD SO GOOD I ATE ONE BEFORE MY INTERMITTENT FAST WAS OVER CUZ I COULD NOT WAIT. * Price - $30 for a dozen w/ premium !! That is unheard of in this economy let alone in So Cal. One box of 4 premium sits at $30+ at other places. * Flavors - Samoa, Matcha Almond were spot on with taste. The toppings were generous and not skimped on. * Size & Texture - Fluffy, larger than most & moist. Even at a day old, they were still good as freshly baked. We devoured them & my kids could not decide on which to try first. We will definitely be back to try other flavors & get more than a dozen so no one fights over them. A dozen donuts usually sit at our house for a few days but these did not last. Even after they were gone, we were raving about them.
I love tmj cafe and dough!!!! It's my tuesday tradition with my boyfriend! I usually get the turkey pesto but recently became obsessed with bold boss and when you add the jalapeños it's just chefs kiss! He usually gets the tmj signature bf and that one is really really good too! They do have a wide variety of drinks but I personally haven't tried any that I like so I opt for a strawberry milk or apple juice. The doughnuts here are insane they are just so fancy and have an elevated tasted compared to other doughnut shops. The service here is always amazing! The food comes out hot and fresh always! Local favorite breakfast spot! Everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious--the lavender latte, Coco Loco latte, veggie omelet, breakfast burritos, and various donuts have all been amazing. The best apple fritters are sold here! The recent discovery and standout for me is the jalapeño ham and cheese croissant. Not only is it perfectly baked and smells incredibly fresh, but the hint of jalapeño adds just the right kick. This place consistently delivers fresh, flavorful food and drinks.
LOVE TMJ Cafe! They have the best donuts and breakfast burritos! Every time I come back home we always end up grabbing some TMJ for our little brunch get togethers. My husband and i ordered a bunch of breakfast burritos, assorted basic donuts, and we got the bran muffin and orange dreamsicle shake to try and everything was soo good! I appreciate that their breakfast burritos are hearty, packaging is always nice, and donuts are always really fluffy! The bran muffin was solid and the shake was so addicting! Service is always quick and efficient. If you have a large order, place it online and they'll have it ready for pick-up. Ambiance is casual. They have a parking lot but it's more of a takeout spot as there isn't too much seating inside.
Oh my gosh! This place is amazing! I only wish I lived closer. I was nearby and wanted to stop somewhere for coffee and a zoom meeting. Hey have wifi! They also have some nice places to sit with a window shade if needed. But here's the best thing... the food! I got the veggie omelet and I tell no lie when I tell you it is the best omelet I have ever had! This place knows how to flavor their food! I also got a coffee and was pleasantly surprised when they offered me vanilla creamer instead of basic half n half. The donuts are fire as well! Not sure I will ever be in this part of town again but if I am I will be stopping here for sure!
TMJ Cafe is the best Sandwich Deli, Dounuts, and Coffee shop by far! They have fair prices, a clean store, and welcoming staff. Their BoarHead meat sandwiches are huge, all have fresh crunchy texture vegetables with great tasting mayo, mustard, and onions with your choice of bread that all are soft and fresh. They offer sodas and different coffees! Along with all this, they offer dounuts, crosaaints that will leave your taste bud's happy! I ordered the U. Bold Boss that is leaving me to come back and trying the other selections! also try the ice coffee's sooooo gooood!
